- he was adopted by Keegan's father when he was a kid after the death of his beloved parents when he's still very small, followed by his grandfather's dead after a few years..(his father is a childhood friend of Keegan's father)

- he noticed that Keegan disliked him very much, but he just stayed silent because he knew who he was in the family. He still respected Keegan as his younger brother. Although Keegan was always messing up with him, but he kept calming down and be patient...

- At 16, he managed to enter the final round and was qualified to become the Water Possessor in the Possessors' Inheritor Game that was organized by The Elemental Keeper Organization. During the nights before the official ceremony of the New Possessors,  Keegan dared him to fight him but he resisted. At that time, an Advanced Fire Spirit was going to attack Keegan from behind, but Calder noticed it and grabbed Keegan quickly and pushed him away. As a result, Calder was attacked, and the attack gave a big impact to his Water Element. Thus, Calder was descended from the Water Possessor position, thus giving him a title the Ex-Water Possessor and the new Water Possessor position was given to Maia, one of the Water candidates that had highest water element status after Calder.

- After the incident, Keegan and Calder were separated. Keegan started to get busy with his Possessor job while Calder was sent home. His adopted father (Keegan's father)  felt sad but regretted at the same time because to be descended from the Elemental Possessor position before finishing its 10 years work contract was a bit ashamed... Calder was guilty for making his father felt that way.. He then started to find any jobs and wanted to be independent...After a while, he decided to go traveling to other place to find his own path and destiny.

- He met Keegan again after about 5 years. Calder then was requested by the administration of  The Elemental Keeper Organization to become Keegan's assistant (not that Elemental Assistant job position) because Calder got a special ability that can give advantage to Keegan's work. Starting from that, the long hidden chain between them is getting shorter.... 

- It seems that Calder feels a bit relieved seeing how much Keegan has changed.
